Standard Operating Procedure for measuring the temperature and humidity in the store department.
1.0 Purpose
The purpose of this SOP is to develop a standard procedure for measuring the temperature and humidity of all store departments where control of temperature and humidity is required.
2.0 Scope
This SOP is applicable for measuring the temperature and humidity in the dispensing area, sampling area,raw material store, packaging material store and cold room.
3.0 Responsibility
3.1 HVAC assistant is responsible for recording temperature and humidity in the store department.
3.2 Raw material store officer is responsible for supervising the activity.
3.3 The engineering head is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the current SOP.
3.4 Q.A. Officer monitors the compliance of this SOP.
4.0 Procedure
4.1 HVAC assistant shall ensure that all the AHUs of the store department are functional.
4.2 The HVAC assistant shall measure the temperature and humidity twice in a shift of all the above mentioned department of store.
4.3 The calibrated thermo hygrometer or temperature and humidity measuring device shall be used to measure the temperature and humidity.
4.4 Temperature and humidity measuring time shall be fixed i.e 9 to 10 am in morning and 2 to 3 pm afternoon.
4.5 If any issue is observed in temperature and humidity the HVAC assistant shall inform the store & engineering head to rectify the issue.
4.6 The HVAC assistant shall record the reading of temperature and humidity in an approved format log sheet.
